This is one of the images I found inspiring when doing out environmental work

I like the use of lighting in this image and hoe it draws your eye away from the focal point that is the stone statue in the centre of the image, I think this image had a feel of time travel about it, I think this because of the points surrounding her and the light ripping through the ground towards the entrance ways, I feel they look like portals to a different place or time.

This is the outline of my sketch this is not the final peace
Evaluation
This is my environment final peace. I tried to give the impression of trees by making small individual likes along the mountains, making the lines slightly longer at the bottom of the mountain to give the illusions of distance. I think was a successful. If I was to improve on my image I would work on the appearances of the water around the fishing walk way as I feel it doesn't may not be clear to the viewer that it is in fact water, I could make this more apparent if I was to colour the image in but I feel by colouring my sketch it could take away from the texturing I have tried to in cooperate within my sketch.
I think I could also improve on the shading within the water because to me it looks patchy in places. Although this image is on a single peace of paper it has now been put into my sketchbook.
